Bayard Police Department

Monday, Aug. 3

Disturbance
Runnels Drive
Advised that her grandson was breaking items inside the residence/he is leaving on foot. Officer advised no crime/he was upset because his girlfriend wasn’t answering the phone.

Disturbance
Budge Drive and N. Yucca Street
Caller advised he can hear people arguing/it sounds really bad. Second caller advised she heard a gun shot/males are fighting/a white pickup is leaving.

Tuesday, Aug. 4

Criminal trespass warning
500 N. East Street
Caller wants a named individual issued a CTW to two addresses. Caller was advised officer was busy at the moment.

Wednesday, Aug. 5

Welfare check
N. Canyon Street – 6:52 p.m.
Caller advised she is supposed to give a named male his medication at 6 p.m. and he did not answer the door. Officers advised to send EMS ref a 47-year-old male refusing to take a medication he needs but wants to be transported for medication/advised he does have an altered mental state/male refused transport and also refused to take his medication.

Welfare check
N. Canyon Street – unknown time, but same address as above
Received a certificate for evaluation for a named male from the VA hospital in ABQ per order/he has schizophrenia, is non-compliant with medication, lives at home without water due to turning them off due to paranoia, has refused to speak with his mental health providers/no history of violence.

Harassment
Vencill Street
Caller advised that a group of people have been stalking and harassing him. He advised they are following him with the intent to hurt him and rape him.

Larceny
Maple Street
Black moped is missing since about 20 minutes ago. Officer advised made contact with caller in front of Bayard Library and he did find his bike.

Disturbance
Virginia and Rogers streets
Caller advised she can hear a male and a female yelling. Officer made contact with a party who was being a little loud/units clear.

Hurley Police Department

Wednesday, Aug. 5

Welfare check
Monte Vista Street – North Hurley
Caller advised he hasn’t spoken to his aunt in a week and phone keeps going to voicemail/she does fall. Deputy advised clear/female is okay/her son was with her and he will call caller.

Larceny
D Street
Caller advised that his landlord stole his phone. Officer advised landlord returned the phone.

Disturbance
Carrasco Avenue
Caller advised her ex-boyfriend is outside messing with her car and trying to get in. Officer advised that a named individual is in the back yard retrieving items and will be leaving shortly.

Criminal damage to property

Advised that someone tried to break into the office over the weekend/there is glass all over the floor/nothing was taken.

Domestic disturbance
Maple Street – 5:45 p.m.
A named male is yelling at caller’s mother and sister/he is on foot at this time/wearing a black hoodie and just being very loud and verbal/he left walking.

Maple Street – unknown time – same address as above
Male and female arguing in background. Caller advised that a named male in a black hoodie is causing problems/nothing physical/arguing. Officer advised show Rudy issued an indefinite CTW for . . .

A named 19-year-old male/caller has had arrangements made with GRMC to be evaluated. Deputy notified/advised to pend until units available.

Bayard Street
Re: children being with their father and supposed to go with mother tomorrow and they are afraid to go back home. Caller from CYFD stated she needs to do emergency visit to home. Deputy was advised.

Reckless driver
Unknown location
Male on 4-wheeler was driving with no lights on. Deputies passed male who was just driving on shoulder and wasn’t driving recklessly/clear call.
