Suspicious vehicle
2743 Highway 35 – Upper Mimbres
Caller called back to cancel deputy/she was able to verify the person had permission to be there.

Missing person
Bear Grass Lane
Caller advised two of her daughters are missing/8-year-old took off after mom told her to go outside and get something/10-year-old took off after her/they have been gone from the home for about an hour.

Harassment
Partridge Drive
Caller advised she is in the process of going through a divorce and the ex-husband has been threatening caller and attempted to take items from the home. Deputy advised he signed papers at the notary on Monday that had the details re: to her getting the house and he gets the truck. Today the male came by the house two hours ago with his cousin.

Breaking and entering
Chalcopyrite Court – Tyrone
Caller advised it appears someone tried to pick the lock and caller was unable to use her key on the patio door/negative on anyone inside the house and nothing is disturbed/just the lock doesn’t work. Deputy attempted to call caller twice with negative contact.

Unwanted subject
Saavedra Drive
A named female is watching caller’s house and another named female is there yelling at her. Deputy on scene.

Larceny
Highway 35 – Upper Mimbres
Caller advised his 10-speed bike was stolen/he last saw it yesterday. Deputy was advised.

Weapons fired
Mount Olympus
Two callers heard shots. Deputies spoke to neighbors and to people in a red car at Everest Point.

Domestic disturbance
Racetrack Road
Caller’s ex is at her residence and causing problems/he is intoxicated and has the keys to her residence/she is going to wait outside. Deputy en route to another address/will stand by at location.

Suspicious vehicle
Caballero Road and Highway 180
Rodeo arena/everything is okay/flat tire.

Welfare check
Bobwhite Drive
Caller advised that a named female took the 6-year-old child inside and saw her lighting something in the back/she is now in her silver Chevy Cobalt revving the engine/she is now going north toward . . .

Breaking and entering
Rio de Arenas Road
Daughter broke into caller’s house and is leaving in a white 4-door/she forced the door open/there were three other females and they were partying. Deputies on scene.

Breaking and entering
Mimbres Masonic Lodge
Caller advised the door was open and it looked like someone forced their way inside/he did not enter the building.

Welfare check
Highway 180 – MM 135 (4 miles east of Grant County Airport Road)
Caller advised she saw a younger looking female walking east on the highway toward Deming/there was a broken-down white car behind the female. Deputy had contact advising vehicle has a flat and they were just trying to fix it.

Reckless driver
Highway 180 – Hurley
Brown Pathfinder with ‘Don’t shoot’ painted all over it/vehicle is driving crazy. Passed call along to NMSP and Luna County.

Accident-property damage
Truck Bypass and W. Highway 180
Caller advised that a FedEx truck was struck by another vehicle. Deputies on scene.

Welfare check
Racetrack Road and Highway 180
A female is disoriented and advised she has nowhere to go/there is something wrong with the female and needs someone to give her a ride somewhere. Deputy advised clear/female just wants a ride to a hotel/she is okay.

Reckless driver
Highway 180 – MM 60 (9 miles east of Glenwood)
Caller advised vehicle with Arizona plate swerving all over/driver abandoned vehicle on shoulder of the road in the pullout right before the Mule Creek turnoff/he opened the door and ran away from the vehicle. Deputy advised male dropped off at Chuck’s Folly in Cliff.

Domestic disturbance

Advised that her boyfriend broke her mirror/has not been physical/just pushed her 14-year-old son right now/caller in the back room with the door locked/unknown where the . . .

Sunday, Aug. 23

Fight
Mountain View Drive and Ridge Road
Caller advised a named individual is fighting his brother in the middle of the roadway. Deputies had contact with subjects.

DV order violation
Franey Street – Bayard
Bayard PD officer advised per this order the male has to return the child/will be following this male to hand over the child/will be out at a Royall Street address/no one was home/made contact with the mother/ she will make arrangements to pick up the child later at the grandparents.

Accident-property damage
Railroad Drive – Silver Acres
Caller advised that someone hit and tore down her fence line/it happened last night or early this morning. Deputy made contact advising caller does not want a report.

Weapons fired
North Hurley Road
Bayard PD officer advised to show units clear/advising made contact with a named individual advising they were celebrating and possibly had some fireworks/everything is okay.

Accident-property damage
Highway 180 – MM 110 (Truck Bypass junction)
Caller advised no one is hurt/refused medical. Advised they hit a deer after it ran into their vehicle/vehicle was smoking a bit but stopped after they turned the car off.
