Bayard Police Department

Caller from SCI advised four kids, ages 5, 6, 8, and 11-years-old, were reported as not attending school and they are living with their mother and father in a dilapidated trailer with trash everywhere and no running water. Officer advised kids are clean/there is food and water/caller was notified.

Saturday, Sept. 19

Unwanted subject
Runnels Drive
Caller advised that a named male is looking in the apartments/last saw him by the office. Officer advised male is showing CTW for the apartment complex from 2013/one male in custody/en route to station/male re-issued CTW.

Harassment
Chino Street
Issues with neighbor/advised his dog was barking and the neighbor went outside and started honking his horn for about five minutes/been an ongoing issue.

Loud party
Empire Street
Officer advised them to turn the music down.

Sunday, Sept. 20

Criminal damage to property
Hurley Street
Caller advised she returned home and found a rock had been thrown through her window. Officer advised will be clear.

Watson and Chino streets
Caller advised he could hear a male yelling at someone and a baby crying. Hurley PD officer had negative contact.

81-year-old female not making sense/grandson is fighting with her/he just broke down the screen door/left before LE arrival.

Accident-property damage
Highway 180 – MM 121.5 (.5 mile south of Highway 152 junction)
Caller advised she saw a tan vehicle hit a deer. Officer advised deer is dead/vehicle not on scene.

Harassment
Cortez Avenue – 1:56 p.m.
Caller advised that a named male messed with caller’s vehicle.

Disturbance
Cortez Avenue – 3:51 p.m.
Caller advised that the male is back on the property and stopping her from leaving.

Fight
C and 5th streets – 4:39 p.m.
Two women and a bunch of people around them are in the street. Officer advised parties left prior to arrival/all units clear.

Fight
C Street – 9:29 p.m.
5 to 6 arguing/2 fighting/they have now stopped fighting. Officer advised they were having a small birthday party/everything is okay.

Caller said landlord is outside with a girl in a tent in the back yard and they are arguing with swords. Officer advised everything is okay.

Caller’s daughter needs to report her vehicle stolen/boyfriend is mentioned.

Domestic disturbance
N. James Street
Male caller to 911 asking, “Can you come pick me up?” On callback, female picks up the phone advising her husband is outside sitting down/advised husband got mad at her/he is intoxicated/wife took phone to put it on the charger and he got upset. Deputy advised everything is okay/all verbal.

Unwanted subject
S. Bellm Street
Caller advising that her son is at her house and he’s not supposed to be there/he’s not causing problems/she does not want him there. Officer advised son was dropped off at A and Fourth streets.
