The Grant County Art Gallery is one of the 32 participants in the Taste of Downtown Coupon Book. Their members have generously donated their time and talent to make a wide variety of holiday ornaments. The Gallery is located at 316 N. Bullard St. and shows and sells the work of dozens of local artists. If you have a Taste of Downtown coupon book, the Guild’s coupon is for a free holiday ornament. 

Recently, Brenda Tozier, Silver City MainStreet Administrative Assistant, redeemed her coupon and picked out a beautiful purple glass ornament. “There is a wide variety of ornaments, stated Tozier. The Guild members really went all out. There are stained glass pieces, miniature paintings, framed photos, beaded ornaments and so many more. I was just amazed at the quality and selection. It was really hard to decide.”

Silver City MainStreet couldn’t hold their annual fundraiser, the Taste of Downtown this year and instead is selling a coupon book for $20 that has more than $200 in savings and great deals like the Guild’s free ornament. There are coupons from 32 downtown merchants with an expiration date of December 31, 2021. 

“We only have 24 coupon books left, so if you want one, hurry! It’s a great way to support local businesses. The coupon books themselves make a great holiday gift.” Tickets for the Taste of Downtown can be purchased at the MainStreet office at 201 N.
