LORDSBURG – The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) District One will be continuing with a pavement preservation project on I-10.

Mountain States Constructors, Inc. (Contractor) will be closing the westbound off ramp at milepost 24 on I-10 starting Friday January 15, 2021. I-10 eastbound off ramp at exit 20B(Lordsburg West) and the eastbound on ramp at milepost 24(Lordsburg East) are currently CLOSED due to construction. Traffic can expect various daytime lane closures as well as overnight lane closures as needed. Contractors' hours of operation will be from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, traffic control will remain in place 24/7. Detour is in place. Construction is expected to be completed spring of 2021.
