With support from the New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and in partnership with New Mexico Courts, Grant County is conducting an engagement process to develop a community-based vision for a Civic Center redevelopment on the campus with the Old Grant County Jail, Courthouse and Black Street Building. During the coming months, the County will be asking community members to share stories, ideas, and aspirations for how the project, which will be anchored by the development of a Judicial Complex, can support additional and complimentary community needs. The engagement process will include multiple community meetings, focus groups, online engagement tools, and other participatory methods.
