What:    The Western New Mexico University Board of Regents meeting during which members will discuss and vote on a change to the faculty remote work policy, fiscal year 2023 research and public service projects, a capital project transmittal for the Deming Learning Center Infrastructure Project, and a Student Leadership Scholarship. The board will conduct housekeeping with the fiscal year 2021 Fourth Quarter Financial Certification, Asset Disposal and the State Investment Council Agreement on the agenda. The final agenda item under New Business is the board’s evaluation of the university president’s performance. The agenda and pertinent documents are available at wnmu.edu.

Who:     The members of the WNMU Board of Regents, including Regent Chair Dr. Mary Hotvedt, Vice Chair Janice Baca Argabright, Student Regent/Secretary/Treasurer Brenda Hernandez Gonzales, and members Dr. Lyndon Haviland and Dr. Daniel H. Lopez; WNMU President Dr. Joseph Shepard, Vice President for Academic Affairs/Provost Dr. Jack Crocker, Vice President for Business Affairs Kelley Riddle, and other university leaders, including Faculty Senate President Dr. Susan J. McFeaters.

When:   The WNMU Board of Regents executive session starts at 8:30 a.m., while the regular session is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2021.

Where: The WNMU Board of Regents will meet in a hybrid manner with some members of the board and some presenters participating over Zoom while others meet in person. The executive session being in the Serna Conference Room of the Castorena Building and the regular session being in the Thomas B. McDonald Student Memorial Building Seminar Room.
