Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest will host a free sign-up event for all girls in Kindergarten through 12th grade on October 4, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM and October 5, 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM at the Girl Scout Little House on 302 West 11th Street, Silver City. Girl Scouting is a value focused organization, values expressed in the Promise and Law, which every girl can understand and apply in her everyday life. Girls in this community also need adults as leaders and co-leaders to help them learn about decision-making skills and help build their self-confidence.
