The MainStreet Gift Certificate program brings shoppers and dollars into the 130 plus Downtown Silver City businesses. Evangeline Zamora, board president of Silver City MainStreet states, “We are grateful to First American Bank for sponsoring this program. Downtown Silver City has many more retail shops than many realize, and we have great restaurants and coffee houses too. In fact, there are 22 eateries, 27 retail shops, 4 antique shops, and 24 art galleries in downtown Silver City. All of them are locally owned.
