Bayard Police Department

Monday, Jan. 24

Unwanted subject
Central Avenue
Caller advised his son is outside trying to get in. Deputies had contact advising the son of his CTW to that location/units clear.

Welfare check
N. Yucca Street
Caller advised a female student showed up to school this morning with a black eye and small cut/child told the substitute teacher that her foster mom did it/advised student left with foster mom 45 minutes ago. Officer advised the child was located and is with CYFD/will be going there for an interview.

Domestic disturbance
Lusk Street
A named male is destroying her home and she is afraid of him/she went inside and he started yelling and cussing at her. Officer requested another officer before he makes contact with this male/male is detained at this time/en route to station with one male in unit.

Tuesday, Jan. 25

Battery
Snell Middle School
Caller advised her 12-year-old son was punched by another student/caller refused medical for her son/both students are in the principal's office. Assistant principal called advising if we could send a county unit to the school to handle this call/advised caller is refusing to speak with the Bayard officer because "They do not like black people." When asked if this was a racist issue/caller advised, "Yes, it is."

Wednesday, Jan. 26

Fight
Snell Middle School
A fight that happened yesterday between two juveniles. The assistant principal advising one female is suspended and at home and other juvenile is at the school with the mother/they want to pursue charges and have officers photograph injuries. Collected information and gave it to Bayard.

Unwanted subject
Central Avenue
A named male is inside the residence causing issues/advised his mother is inside the home as well/he has a CTW for the residence/just want him to leave. Officer advised one in custody en route to station.

Fight
Snell Middle School
Caller advised a video was going around of a fight on premises/both students are in ISS/requesting an officer to get video now that female juvenile is refusing to give over the video. Collected information and gave it to Bayard.

Thursday, Jan. 27

Unwanted subject
BPD
Caller advised there two males arguing in front of the Fire Dep't side/they need to leave. Officer advised both males took off walking/everything is okay.

Welfare check
Benjamin Street
Caller advised a sick girl is at this location/when she was driving by this house a male came out and told her someone is sick. When asked for her name she hung up the phone. Officer advised everyone in the house is okay.

Domestic disturbance
Santa Rita Avenue
Caller advised her sister is accusing her of hurting their 90-year-old mother/her sister's daughter lives with the mother and she was there as well. When caller got there the sister was yelling at the mother/negative on anything physical.

Caller advised she needs a named male removed from the property/negative on him being physical with her/they were verbally arguing/male is currently in the home. Second caller advised the female is not allowing the male to leave the home/she did grab and push him.

Breaking and entering
B Street
Caller advised her house was broken into earlier today/she didn't see anything missing but everything was thrown off shelves and all her clothes thrown around/the back doors are completely off the hinges.

Caller advised there is a physical disturbance at the residence behind the Brown Derby. Deputy out at the Brown Derby parking lot/a named male was released by a Santa Clara PD officer/unit clear.

N. Mineral Street
Caller advised her daughter showed up at her home bloody and beat up/she is currently running from caller. Call was given to NMSP.

Tuesday, Jan. 25

Criminal damage to property
N. Prescott Street
Caller advised her home was hit with eggs and some other substances/there was some damage to the property.

Domestic disturbance
N. Olive Street
Caller advised her 10-year-old son came at her attempting to be physical with her/he was stopped. Can hear male yelling and screaming in the background. Caller advised the argument started over an argument about him being disrespectful toward the mother. Deputy advised clear/mother left prior to arrival/all verbal.

Intoxicated persons
Manhattan Park Drive
Caller's son is intoxicated/he is causing problems and banging things in his room/he is not supposed to be drinking. Officer giving son a ride to Bayard/male dropped off at the Sugar Shack parking lot.

Stolen motor vehicle
N. Hutchinson Street
Caller advised a female is trying to steal his truck/he has her stopped now/truck is a white 2010 Dodge Ram/caller has the keys back/she is not being aggressive toward him.

Disturbance
Mineral Street
Across the street is a trailer and someone is arguing and honking a horn/they have two dogs, possibly loose. Officer out near the address.
