LORDSBURG - The New Mexico Department of Transportation District One office in cooperation with Mountain States Construction, Inc. (Contractor) is excited to announce the upcoming roadway rehabilitation and reconstruction project on Interstate 10 from milepost 20 (Lordsburg West) to milepost 15 (Gary).

Beginning Monday, February 21, 2022, drivers can expect various daytime lane closures on both the eastbound and westbound lanes as needed. Contractor’s hours of operation will be from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. This preservation project was awarded in the amount if $8 million and is expected to take 90 working days to complete.
