Disabled American Veterans Grant/Fort Bayard Chapter 1 is seeking Volunteer Van Drivers for the VA transportation System.

Our Nation's heroes travel around the globe to protect our freedoms— it's only right that we return their dedication.

Volunteering to drive a Van ensures that those living remotely from a VA facility can make it to their appointments and never go without the treatments they need. Some Veterans may lack the ability or means to transport themselves to appointments.

The primary destination is the VA hospital in Albuquerque. Other destinations may include Las Cruces, Alamogordo or a contract Physician in SW New Mexico. Those appointments are arranged by our Hospital service coordinators at the VA medical facilities. It's all part of the DAV Transportation Network.

Anyone interested in becoming a DAV Volunteer driver Please contact Art Sierra at 575-534-3090 for more information
