What:    Western New Mexico University will break ground on a new softball field. The project is focused on the installation of an artificial turf field, construction of new dugouts and a press box, installation of new bleachers and field lighting, addition of a 12,000-square-foot parking lot, and infrastructure updates. The project is part of an overall Mustang Athletic Facilities Renovation that also includes space and equipment updates to the weight room, locker room, laundry room, storage room and restrooms at the Fox Complex.
