Silver City, NM, March 27, 2023—Sharla Lefkowitz-Oberg, director of Silver City MainStreet, will be the featured speaker at the April 4 meeting of PFLAG Silver City, 6:00 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 3845 N. Swan. The public is invited, and refreshments will be served.

Lefkowitz-Oberg has extensive experience in downtown revitalization, community building, advocacy, marketing, communications, and administration. Originally from Upstate New York, she lived in Silver City from 2012-2013 and now has returned with her family. Meeting attendees will learn of MainStreet’s past successes and upcoming projects and be able to ask questions about how MainStreet and the LGBTQ+ community and its allies might collaborate and support one another.
