AnnaCaiteCapertonAugust 13, at 10:00 am, 3845 North Swan Street – "Alternatives to War”

Anna Caite Caperton will address the issue of war. “Is war obsolete as a means of solving International conflict? Can conflict be managed without violence?” she asks.

Drawing from "A Global Security System: An Alternative to War" and other sources, Caperton will present a case for how humanity just might be able to create a global Peace system and evidence that it may already be in the works.

Anna Caite Caperton is a resident of Silver City. She has taught creative drama all over the US to teens and younger kids for about 30 years and she also teaches public speaking. She is not associated with any military organizations, but she finds the subject of alternatives to war very compelling. She is an affiliate of the organization World Beyond War.

Childcare is available on second and fourth Sundays. Parents are invited to bring children 3-12 years old to play and participate in activities led by 10th grader Ivy Stephens-Etheridge.
