SILVER CITY, NM — Silver City MainStreet Project is excited to announce September's Kick-Ass Entrepreneurs — Silver City (KAE-SC) Story Time featuring TGI Frybread. The Entrepreneur Story Time will take place at Little Toad Creek Brewery & Distillery, 200 N Bullard St, in downtown Silver City on Wednesday, September 13 at 5:30 pm. The event is free and open to the public.

Join Silver City MainStreet Project for Story Time and learn about how the dynamic duo Paulo and Adelina Veltri of TGI Frybread became Kick-Ass Entrepreneurs! You won’t want to miss this motivational story on September 13! What started out as fundraising with the Native Students at the local University, ended up being a side hustle at large summer events throughout Grant County for many years. Within that time, folks were always encouraging the opening of a restaurant or going full time. “In 2020, we started full time and recently completed our 2nd year. We are not looking back. Once we have the ability, we plan to expand.”

“Allow your confidence to lead you into the unknown and become known.” - Paulo Veltri

“I had the pleasure of eating their food for the Native American club fundraisers on campus,” said Silver City MainStreet Project's Administrative Assistant, Cindy "Renee" Provencio. “and their food continues to be prepared with so much love! I was absolutely thrilled when they agreed to tell their story!”

Join us at the Little Toad Creek Brewery & Distillery Silver City Taproom on Wednesday, September 13, for the chance to hear more of the inspiring story of Paulo’s and Adelina’s entrepreneur journey! Plan to arrive at 5:30 PM to order food and drinks and to schmooze with new and old friends before we kick-off Story Time at 6:00 PM.

KAE-SC provides entrepreneurs of all ages and stages, across all industries, and throughout Grant County the opportunity to share their stories with an engaged audience of local fans, curious community members, and potential partners. Entrepreneurs share the inside story, including what worked for them and what resources and people helped them along the way. Each month the approximately two-hour event is hosted at different venues providing the hosts the opportunity to share their stories, as well.

Everyone is welcome at KAE-SC. The fun, social format provides attendees with the opportunity to mingle, network, and meet new friends with similar interests. The events are a great way to learn about local businesses and enjoy different host businesses.
