The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) is leading the NM 159 Vehicle Length
Restrictions Study and Analysis. With the study, an analysis was conducted to see how
different types of vehicles navigate a portion of NM 159 (MP 3.0 to 9.5). Based on the analysis,
recommendations were made with the aim of improving safety for all vehicles traveling through.
