Black Range Ranger Station to be closed part of October 11
For a half-day, district-wide safety training
 
TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES, NM, October 6, 2023 – The Gila National Forest, Black Range District office located at 1804 N. Date Street, in Truth or Consequences will be closed from 9:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 11. The closure will allow all staff to attend a district-wide safety training.
“Customer service is a large, critical part of what we do. No less important is investing in my staff’s safety training, so that we can continue to serve the public safely, every day,” said Black Range District Ranger, Bret Mellott. “I appreciate the public’s understanding and support while my team focuses on safety for a half-day next week.”
