SILVER CITY, NM — The Silver City MainStreet Project is excited to announce the judges for the 33rd Annual Lighted Christmas Parade. The parade will be held on Saturday, November 25, at 7:00 pm in downtown Silver City.

The judges for the 2023 parade are: La Rea Holladay, owner of Flowers on 11th; Javier Marrufo, Curator at the Silver City Museum; and Mario Sanchez, Executive Director of Marketing and Communications at Western New Mexico University.

The judges will decide the winners of the parade for the categories of non-profit/civic, commercial, and individual.

“We are incredibly grateful for the volunteer parade judges, the many volunteers who work behind the scenes to make the parade happen each year, and the parade participants who put in numerous hours of work to create their floats,” said Silver City MainStreet Project Executive Director, Sharla Lefkowitz-Oberg. “This is truly a community event that caps off a day full of festivities and holiday excitement in our downtown.”

Join the Silver City MainStreet Project downtown on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 25, for a festive day of shopping and parade spectating.
