Portal, AZ/Rodeo, NM ' A half-century-old agricultural irrigation tank that became renowned as an internationally-recognized hot spot for viewing rare bird species has been restored and is about to be rededicated to assist species using the flyway between the Chiricahua and Peloncillo Mountains.A dedication open house at Willow Tank, including talks by local bird and wildlife experts, is scheduled for 9-11 a.m. (AZ time) on Earth Day, April 22.
