NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the New Mexico Aging and Long-Term Services Department ("ALTSD") is proposing a 4-year State Plan covering the period of October 1, 2017 - September 30, 2021, as required by the Older Americans Act of 1965, as amended (the "Act"). The ALTSD will hold a Public Hearing on May 11, 2017 at 2:40 p.m. in Room #5, North Domingo Baca Multigenerational Center, 7521 Carmel Ave. NE, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The proposed State Plan is a contractual obligation as defined within the Act, which allows the ALTSD to receive funding under Titles III and VII of the Act. This Plan encompasses ALTSD's vision, mission and guiding principles for New Mexico's older adults, adults with disabilities and their caregivers. Each of ALTSD's goals, objectives and programs are outlined and articulated within the proposed State Plan, which ensures that its vision of "lifelong independence and healthy aging" continues throughout the next four years.

Interested parties may view the proposed State Plan on the ALTSD website at http://www.nmaging.state.nm.us/About_The_Department.aspx. Copies may also be obtained by contacting Lynne Anker-Unnever, Aging Network Division Director, NM Aging & Long-Term Services Department, 625 Silver SW, Suite 414, ABQ, NM 87102; or at (505) 383-3903 or at lynne.anker-unnever@state.nm.us.
