Santa Fe, N.M. - New Mexico Film Office Director Nick Maniatis announced today that the Amazon Studios television series, "Too Old to Die Young," began principal photography of an episode on March 6th, 2018 in Albuquerque. Production on the episode, which will utilize both first and second unit crews, will continue through March before returning to Los Angeles.

The production will employ 75-100 New Mexico crew members, 20 cast/stunt New Mexico actors and approximately 240 New Mexico background talent, including stand-ins.

"Too Old to Die Young" explores the criminal underbelly of Los Angeles by following characters' existential journeys from being killers to becoming Samurais in the City of Angels. Co-Creator and executive producer Nicolas Winding Refn ("Drive," "The Neon Demon," "Only God Forgives") directs all ten episodes of the series, which stars Miles Teller ("Only the Brave," "Thank you For Your Service," "Whiplash") John Hawkes ("The Sessions," "Winters Bone") and Jena Malone ("The Neon Demon," "Hunger Games: Mockingjay"). Co-creator Ed Brubaker ("Captain America: The Winter Soldier," "Westworld") and Jeffrey Stott ("Hotel Artemis," "Stronger," "Two Guns") also serve as executive producers.
