Santa Fe, N.M. - New Mexico Film Office Director Nick Maniatis announced today that "Running with the Devil," will begin production in New Mexico. "Running with the Devil is produced by Michael Mendelsohn/Patriot Pictures ("Cut Throat City," "Hangman," "Zeroville," "USS Indianapolis," "I Am Wrath," "Lord of War," "Air Force One," "The Matrix," and "Reservoir Dogs") and Jim Steele, with Mike Nilon, Etchie Stroh, and Natalie Perrotta as Executive Producers. Carlos Osorio and Juan Diego Villegas are Co-Producers. Juan Pablo Solano is a Co-Producer and Line Producer. Kristopher Wynne is a Line Producer. Production will begin mid-March through the end of March in Albuquerque.
The film will employ approximately 90 New Mexico crew members, 30 New Mexico actors and stunt performers including Keith Jardine ("Jurassic World," "Inherent Vice," "John Wick," "Logan," "Transcendence"), Sarah Minnich ("Better Caul Saul," "Waco," "Godless"), Luce Rains ("Hostiles," "Transcendence", "No Country for Old Men," "3:10 to Yuma"), and Marie Wagenman ("Godless"), and 150 New Mexico background talent.

Written and directed by Jason Cabell (a highly decorated Navy Seal Combat Veteran), "Running With The Devil" draws on Jason Cabell's real-life Navy Seal experiences when assigned to work with the DEA in Colombia's coca drug fields.
