LORDSBURG – The New Mexico Department of Transportation District One office (NMDOT) has posted an alert for Monday November 18, 2019:

Mountain States Construction Co., INC. (Contractor) will begin pavement preservation along Motel Drive from the Flying J Truck Stop to the Pilot Truck Stop, approximately 4 miles. As well as on Main Street from the Motel Drive Intersection (US 70) to end of State Maintenance route approximately 1.9 miles. Lane closures will be in effect on both routes with an 11’ width restriction. No parking will be allowed along the roadway during construction. Motorists are asked to reduce speed, obey posted signs, use extreme caution, and be cautious of personnel in the area. Hours of operation will be from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Construction is expected to be completed by winter 2019. The NMDOT would like to thank you for your patience during this project.
