SANTA FE, NM – At the first Board meeting following the General Membership meeting, New Mexico County Insurance Authority (NMCIA) Board of Directors elected new leadership of NMCIA on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at the NMC Legislative Conference. They will assume their responsibilities immediately and serve through the next annual membership meeting in January 2021. 

The new officers of NMCIA are Chair Chaves County Chief Deputy Assessor Ron Lethgo, Vice Chair Curry County Manager Lance Pyle, and New Mexico Counties Board Representative Taos County Commissioner Jim Fambro. These individuals were chosen by their peer board members. The NMCIA Board representative to the NMC Board of Directors must be a county elected official and will represent all NMCIA member counties.  

NMCIA is a county insurance pool that provides coverage for workers’ compensation, property, liability, and law enforcement for member counties.
