Interstate 25 Lane Closure

Las Cruces: The New Mexico Department of Transportation District One (NMDOT) has posted an alert for Sunday February 23, 2020.

The New Mexico Department of Transportation will have crews and equipment on the northbound right driving lane of I-25 just before the I-25/University interchange for guardrail and fence repairs. To minimize impacts to traffic this work will be completed on Sunday morning from 7:00 am until 12:00 pm. The off ramp will remain open to University Avenue. I-25 northbound passing left lane will continue to have a lane closure for the ongoing construction project, use caution as roadway will be congested  in the area. 

Motorists are asked to reduce speed, obey posted signs, and be cautious of personnel and equipment in the area. Traffic Advisories and updates on this project will be posted on the New Mexico Department of Transportation’s road conditions website at http://nmroads.com/ or you can call 511.
