Northbound I-25 Loop Ramp to Reopen for Eastbound Traffic on University Avenue; Detour Provided for Westbound Traffic on University Avenue

NOTE: All work is scheduled weather permitting, and is subject to change without notice.

Beginning Thursday, April 9, 2020 and lasting for about three weeks, through about April 30, 2020, the northbound I-25
on-ramp at University will be CLOSED so crews can construct curb and gutter, ADA improvements and paving from Don Roser to the on-ramp.

The I-25 northbound loop ramp will be re-opened to provide access to eastbound traffic on University Ave.

Westbound traffic on University Ave. will be detoured as follows:
Head westbound on University Ave. to South Triviz Drive
Head north on South Triviz Drive to Nevada Ave.
Head west on Nevada Ave. to Walnut Street
Head north on Walnut Street to East Lohman Ave.
Head east on East Lohman Ave. to access I-25 northbound

Detour signs and message boards will be in place for westbound drivers on University Avenue.

Westbound drivers on University Avenue should expect delays, especially during the first few days of the closure.
They should also give themselves extra time to access
I-25 northbound.

In addition, the newly constructed I-25 southbound
on-ramp at University Avenue will be opened to traffic.

Regular work hours are Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-5 p.m.
