ALBUQUERQUE, NM (July 7, 2020) – The Urban Land Institute (ULI) New Mexico chapter is pleased to announce the selection of a new chair who will help guide the organization for the next two years. Will Gleason was chosen by his peers to serve as District Council Chair from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2022.

The former chair, Joshua Smith, will remain on the ULI New Mexico board in an advisory role on the management committee.

Will Gleason is an urban planner and partner at Dekker/Perich/Sabatini.  He focuses on large scale planning, from master plans to corridor studies to zoning. His work is often at the intersection of land use and transportation; he has worked on a number of high profile projects such as Mesa del Sol, Innovate ABQ, UNM Master Plan and Albuquerque Rapid Transit. A resident of Albuquerque for more than a quarter century, Will appreciates all that this spectacular place has to offer.  When he’s not working, you can find him riding or hiking on one of our great trails.  Will has been a member of ULI for more than a decade; he looks forward to leading ULI NM and helping to make our communities more equitable, prosperous and fun.
