LAS CRUCES- The New Mexico Department of Transportation District One office (NMDOT) along with White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) has posted an alert for Thursday October 1, 2020.

US 70 is scheduled to be blocked beginning at 6:15 a.m. This block will last approximately one hour.  The roadblock will be located at Blue Block (Mile Marker 172 / 2 miles east of Owen Road) and Yellow Block (Mile Marker 200 / Entrance to White Sands National Park). Nike Avenue will be affected. The Las Cruces Gate and the San Augustin Pass will remain open.
