SANTA FE — The New Mexico Senate Republican Caucus today released the following statement regarding the passing of Senator Jim White:

"The Senate Republican Caucus is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our colleague, Senator Jim White (R-19). Senator White served our nation and state honorably as a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and longtime member of the New Mexico Legislature. We will miss his wise and calm demeanor, and passion for public service. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Senator White's family members and friends."
