Successfully completing RAP

SANTA FE, NM – New Mexico Counties recognized 13 counties with a 2020 Risk Awareness Program (RAP) Award during the 2021 NMC Virtual Legislative Conference on January 21, 2021. RAP is a workplace risk control educational program that aims to reduce the frequency and severity of county claims through better risk awareness and safety practices.

Curry County – For successfully completing year 9 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing multi-line claims by 62%

Eddy County – For successfully completing year 4 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing workers’ compensation claims by 26% and law enforcement claims by 67%

Guadalupe County – For successfully completing year 6 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing multi-line claims by 40%, auto claims by 100%, and law enforcement claims by 100%

Hidalgo County – For successfully completing year 6 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing multi-line claims by 56%, auto claims by 100%, and law enforcement claims by 23%

McKinley County – For successfully completing year 13 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing multi-line claims by 66%, auto claims by 42%, and law enforcement claims by 60%

Roosevelt County – For successfully completing year 7 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing multi-line claims by 76% and law enforcement claims by 64%

San Miguel County – For successfully completing year 9 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing multi-line claims by 71%, auto claims by 71%, and law enforcement claims by 23%

Sandoval County – For successfully completing year 6 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing workers’ compensation claims by 34%, auto claims by 39%, and law enforcement claims by 61%

Santa Fe County – For successfully completing year 10 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing multi-line claims by 21%, auto claims by 15%, and law enforcement claims by 79%

Socorro County – For successfully completing year 3 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing workers’ compensation claims by 48%, multi-line claims by 14%, auto claims by 33%, and law enforcement claims by 15%

Taos County – For successfully completing year 10 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing workers’ compensation claims by 27% and multi-line claims by 11%

Torrance County – For successfully completing year 12 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing multi-line claims by 77% and law enforcement claims by 20%

Valencia County – For successfully completing year 12 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing workers’ compensation claims by 34%,  multi-line claims by 26%, auto claims by 70%, and law enforcement claims by 53%
