WASHINGTON — Congresswoman Yvette Herrell (NM-02) today announced she will serve on both the House Committee on Natural Resources and the House Committee on Oversight and Reform.

"New Mexico's economy and budget depend on how federal lands are managed," Herrell said. "We've already seen how President Biden's ban on new oil and gas development threatens to destroy our state's jobs and revenue stream. Serving on the Natural Resources and Oversight Committees puts me in an important position to protect New Mexico's future and hold the Biden administration accountable."

The congresswoman will receive subcommittee assignments on the two committees in the coming days.
