September 23, 2021 – The International Folk Art Market (IFAM)—the world’s largest folk art market—has promoted Adrienne A. Murray from Associate Director of Marketing and Community Engagement to Director of Marketing and Community Engagement. A fierce advocate for artists, she’ll now be responsible for managing IFAM’s marketing, communications, and outreach programs. Her responsibilities will include virtual and in-person event planning, membership engagement and facilitating community partnerships.

An active member of the local community, Murray is a 2020 alumna of the New Mexico Women of Color Nonprofit Leadership Initiative and serves as the Director for Community Engagement for Resilient New Mexico: Behavioral Health for Families and as a virtual event consultant for cultural institutions in and around Santa Fe. She serves as a Board Member for Girls Inc. Santa Fe, on the Delta Phi Epsilon International Sorority Educational Foundation’s Communications Committee and as a Junior Board Member for the Armando Gallegos Memorial Foundation.

Murray holds a B.A. in Public Relations and Organizational Communication from California State University Los Angeles, a M.S. in Public Administration with an emphasis in Public Sector Employee/Employer relations from California State University, Long Beach, and a certificate in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Florida Atlantic University.
