Successfully completing RAP in 2021

2022nmclegconfgrantrapaward01.20.22SANTA FE, NM – New Mexico Counties recognized four counties with a 2021 Risk Awareness Program (RAP) Award during the 2022 NMC Hybrid Legislative Conference on January 20, 2022. The RAP is a workplace risk control educational program that aims to reduce the frequency and severity of county claims through better risk awareness and safety practices. Twenty counties currently participate in the RAP.

Curry County – For successfully completing year 10 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing workers’ compensation claims by 41%, auto claims by 20%, and law enforcement claims by 77%

Grant County – For successfully completing year 4 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing workers’ compensation claims by 19%, multi-line claims by 50%, and law enforcement claims by 80%

Roosevelt County – For successfully completing year 9 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and reducing workers’ compensation claims by 67%, multi-line claims by 39%, and law enforcement claims by 100%

Torrance County – For successfully completing year 14 of NM Counties’ Risk Awareness Program (RAP) and recusing workers’ compensation claims by 25%, multi-line claims by 66%, and auto claims by 34%
