RINCON – The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) District One will begin making repairs to multiple bridges in Southwest, NM. 

Hasse Contracting Co. (Contractor) received the award confirmation for the Bridge Preservation projects in Southwest, NM. These bridges are located on NM 140, near Rincon NM, over the Rio Grande River. Also, on I-25 milepost 117 and 121, 30 miles south of Socorro, near Ft. Craig. This preservation project was awarded in the amount of $13 million and is expected to take 180 working days to complete.

NM 140 is closed from milepost 0 to 1, a detour is in place. Contractor working hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Use caution for workers and equipment in the area.
