Albuquerque, October 4—This evening marks the beginning of Yom Kippur, the Jewish "Day of Atonement" and the holiest day on the Jewish calendar. The following is a statement from RPNM Chairman Steve Pearce on Yom Kippur:
"We at the Republican Party of New Mexico would like to wish our Jewish friends and Jewish communities a blessed Yom Kippur. This special day is a time for reflection and focuses on repentance and asking forgiveness for any wrongs committed over the past year. Yom Kippur also provides an opportunity for Jews here in New Mexico and around the world to reaffirm a commitment to their faith. We extend our wishes for a meaningful fast and blessed holy day to all our Jewish friends."

The Republican Party of New Mexico (RPNM) advances the ideals of individual liberties for the advancement of its citizens and the greater prosperity of our communities throughout New Mexico. Led by an Executive Board and its Chairman, former NM Congressman Steve Pearce, RPNM serves all New Mexicans via its headquarters in Albuquerque and can be contacted at (505) 298-3662.
