HATCH - The New Mexico Department of Transportation District One office in cooperation with La Calerita LLC (Contractor) has begun a bridge rehabilitation project on NM 26 at milepost 47.7 over Interstate 25. 

During this time, the bridge over the Interstate 25 will have intermittent closures at exit 41(Hatch).  Eastbound NM 26 traffic to Northbound I-25 will need to follow the detours signage to Rincon. Travel lanes along I-25 may be reduced to a single lane depending on the work location, drivers should be vigilant for construction signing. 

Drivers are asked to reduce speed and please obey traffic control devices and be on the lookout for workers and/or equipment entering and exiting the roadway.  The contractor’s daytime hours of operation will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Bridge will be reopened overnight.
