Las Cruces, New Mexico–Alma D' Arte to hold a School Board Meeting Today, despite removal of public comment. A protest is scheduled to include former teachers, students and staff concerns regarding possible closure of the school.

This comes after several turbulent actions taken of current school administrator Dr. Adam Amador; to include his wife calling the police on a student during a regular school board meeting in an attempt to get him banned. 

Additionally, the move comes after several school board members resign to include Gabriel I. Holguin, Dr. Cynthia Wise, Zeke Romero, and Ron Fitzherbert within the past cycle. 

The School Board will also take action on contracts for: CONTRACT – TIFFANY MENDEZ - ACTION b. CONTRACT – LEZLIE LOERA - ACTION c. CONTRACT – LAURA GARCIA - ACTION

The news release is sent to the media as an outcry for help. The Board is set to vote on these matters at today's regular regular meeting, April 15, 2024, at 6:00 PM.
