Nettie Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Goetz, 84, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2013.

A grave side service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday January 4, 2014 at the Glenwood Cemetery with a reception to follow at the Glenwood Senior Center.

Betty was born on February 07, 1929 in Roswell, NM, but spent most of her childhood in Reserve, NM.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Clara Snyder; two brothers, Jake and Ernie Snyder; two children, Vicki and Donna Kay Dyer; her husband Buster Goetz; a nephew and two nieces Wesley Snyder and his wife Ruth; and Cindy Zentz,  as well as many other family and friends.  

She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Cosand; 3 sons and 3 daughters: Jimmy Dyer and his wife, Maridean, their three children; Elizabeth, Brandy, and JW Dyer; Carolyn Ramsey and her husband, Butch, and their three children; Gavin, Jill, and Diana; Marilyn Roberts, her son Paul Roberts, Cesley Dyer and her husband, Tom Crump, and their two daughters; Charli and Dani; Ray Goetz and his wife, JoDee; and their three sons; Chance, Cody, and Brendon; Frank Goetz and his wife, Anna; and their two daughters; Shannon and Rebecca.  She also had many nieces, nephews, cousins, and thirteen Great grandchildren. Betty’s favorite pastimes were playing bingo with friends and spending time with family.
