Heber Abdon Chavez, 38, a resident of Palomas Mexico passed away Tuesday May 2, 2017 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces.

Heber was born January 19, 1979 in Gomez Farias, Chihuahua, Mexico to Guillermina Ortiz Estrada and Jesus Chavez Anchondo. He was a member of the Templo La Hermosa and worked as a laborer in the construction industry.

He is survived by wife Maria Dolores Chavez; parents, Guillermina and Jesus Chavez; his 3 sons Gerardo, Heber Abdon and Ivan Chavez; his daughter Claudia Chavez; brothers, Cesar, Jose Luis (Veronica), Servando (Karla) and Caleb (Ruben).
