Joann Helen Lucero (Trujillo) passed away Saturday December 9, 2017 at Ft. Bayard Medical Center.

She was born in Abiquiu N.M. in 1945.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years Demetrio James Lucero.

They had one daughter, Bernice Wern (Carl), and one son, Demetrio James Lucero Jr., five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She loved to do crafts.

She was a caregiver for several years.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Bright Funeral Home. A Family Burial will be held at a later date in Abiquiu, New Mexico.
