Mary Saenz, 88, a lifelong Deming resident, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 4, 2012 at her home.   Mary was born on May 2, 1923 in Deming, New Mexico to Enrique Saenz Sr. and Luz Saenz. She was a homemaker and a Gold Star Mother and participated each year in the wreath dedication for the Memorial Day and Veterans Day Services. She enjoyed being outdoors, planting her roses, spending time with her family, and she was a lifelong member of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church.   Mary is survived by four sons, Danny, Jose, Benny of Houston Texas and Charlie and wife Dee, five daughters , Stella Uzueta and husband Alex, Nancy Saenz, Joann Saenz of Granbury Texas, Norma Carter of Las Cruces, New Mexico and Debi Quintero and husband Alfred of Clovis New Mexico, 23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Enrique Saenz Sr. and Luz Saenz, a sister, Adela Trejo, a son PFC Richard Saenz, a son Patricio Sanchez and wife Gloria Sanchez, and a grandson Richard A. Saenz. Viewing will be on Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 5-7pm with a holy rosary beginning at 7pm with Sylvia Enrique reciting at Terrazas Funeral Chapels. Funeral mass will take place at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 10am with father Enrique Lopez Escalera officiating. Concluding services will be with an interment at Mountain View cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Benny Saenz, Charlie Saenz, Aaron Quintero, Manny Alvarez Jr., Angel Saenz and Rudy Estrada. Honorary Pallbearers will be Enrique Saenz Jr., Fidel Saenz, Pablo Saenz, Danny Saenz, Jose Saenz and Alex Uzueta.
