Edwin F. Hernandez 90 formerly of Lordsburg, New Mexico, passed away December 2019 at his residence in Fresno, California after a battle of cancer and a failing heart condition. A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Parish on January 23, 2020 at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Shakespeare Cemetery along with his family in the family plot. The time has come where they will all be united. He was born in Lordsburg, New Mexico.  His parents Cecelia and Nestor Hernandez other siblings were Tito, Alice, Margaret, Carmen, Hazel, Martin, and Maria. The Hernandez family were all born and raised in Lordsburg, New Mexico. They had a small house on Gold Street that is still standing.  Edwin moved from Lordsburg and lived in Fresno California for many years. He was a commercial painter for high rise buildings.
