ozment 02Guy E. Ozment went home to be with his Savior on May 18, 2020. Guy was born in Dunlap, Texas, August 19, 1935 to Delbert Ross Ozment and Jewel Treece Ozment. On June 22, 1954 he married the love of his life and best friend Fran Lea and had three wonderful children. He served his apprenticeship as an electrician in Hurley in 1959 when they bought the Hurley Store and went into business. They continued in partnership until the stores were sold in 1975. He worked in construction as a journeyman electrician until late 1978 at which time, he went back to work for Kennecott until retirement in 1997.

Guy loved country western music and started the band, Rhythm Wranglers in early 1963. He played with Meredith Neal in later years and in 2000, he and Doris White started a country gospel band called Gloryland Band. The band is now named Jericho, current band members include Deanna Frost, Boyd Frost, John Frost, Laura Frost, Tanner Frost, Lane Frost, Kaci Joe Frost, Jeanne Humiston, , Suzy Snedeker, Lorraine Anglin, Bub Graham, Andy Anderson and Donnie Fell. The Gloryland Band and Jericho were blessed with many passed members of which he remembered often and fondly.
One of his greatest joys was spending time with family and teaching his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, how to fish and hunt. Guy loved the outdoors, camping, hunting and fishing every chance he got.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Fran Ozment, his three children, Bhrenda Lenderman and husband Larry, Deanna Frost and husband Boyd and Eddie Ozment. Grandchildren, Bobbie Lenderman, Travis Lenderman, Jason Frost and wife Rachel, Rusty Frost and wife Felicia, John Frost and wife Laura, Jori Frost, Chance Ozment and family, Crissy Seebeck and family, Cody Shifett and family, and Brandy Ozment and family. He was blessed with 20 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Shari La'Shae and two great granddaughters.

The family would like to thank Grant County Regional Dispatch, Gila Regional EMS, Whiskey Creek Volunteer Fire Department, Grant County Sherriff Montana Madrid, OMI Mike Barragree and Terrazas Funeral Chapels for all their help and kindness at this time. As per Grandpa's wishes there will be no services. At a later date, the family will hold a celebration of Guy's life, all friends and family will be welcome. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Victory Assembly of God Church in Santa Clara. Cremation has taken place at Terrazas Crematory.
