reginadunaganRegina Mae Dunagan, of Silver City passed away June 11, 2021 at Gila Regional Medical Center in the arms of her sweetheart, Tom Turrentine.  

“Reggie” was born February 12, 1944 in Portales, NM and was the daughter to Ruth and George W. Clark Jr.. Reggie’s greatest joy was her family, children, grandchildren, and her many loving extended family. Reggie was very passionate about cooking and sewing. Besides cooking she loved arts and crafts, she was a seamstress extraordinaire. One of Reggie’s greatest pleasures was to serve others; there was no one whom she considered a stranger and would help anyone in need. She will definitely be missed by many! 

She had owned and operated Highway 180 Pawn Shop. Reggie was an Arizona State Marshal of the Elks Emblem Club and was past president of the President of the Willow Creek Land Owners Association.  

Reggie is survived by her husband, Tom Turrentine; her daughter, Terral Archer; five grandchildren, Chadley (Megan) Cash, Kolin (Christian) Cash, Keith Cash, Kenneth Cash, and Alissa Sarantis; and brother, Thomas (Tommy) Clark; Tommy Turrentine, Jr. (Catherine), and grandson, Jacob Turrentine (Alex); and 9 great grandchildren. Reggie was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Annette Sarantis, Sister, Betty Cook and a brother, George” Billy” Clark III.

Cremation has been entrusted to Baca’s Funeral Chapels. A Memorial Funeral Service to celebrate her life will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Baca’s Funeral Chapels. Concluding service and interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery.
