William “Bill” Windsor, age 82, of Silver City NM, entered eternal rest December 15, 2021. William was born Nov. 22,1939 to Leland Windsor and Audrey Williams in Wallace Idaho. Mr. Windsor graduated from Bisbee High School in Bisbee Arizona. After Graduation he joined the Navy, and served his country for four Years. He then returned to Bisbee Arizona, and began working for Phelps Dodge Mining Corp, and met his wife of 30 years, Annetta. Bill enjoyed bowling, working, puzzles, and watching sports of any kind, especially the sports his kids played. After more than 30 years he retired from Phelps Dodge-Tyrone in 2002. After retirement, you could often find Bill with his brother Art having breakfast at the Drifter Café. He will be remembered by many and deeply missed.

He was Proceeded in death by his Wife Annetta Lou Pendley Windsor, a son Anthony “Tony” Ray Windsor and brothers, Leroy (Frankie), Jim, Les (Sandy) and Art (Betty) Windsor. William is survived by two son's Michael Windsor (Tamara), and Don Windsor, two daughters Sonya Garland, Beverly Knipp (Larry) and a Brother Robert (Maureen) Windsor. And numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
