Isabel R. Chavez, 91, of Silver City passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at her home surrounded by loved ones.

Visitation will begin at five o'clock in the evening on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Baca's Funeral Chapel in Silver City, New Mexico. A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will follow at six o'clock led by Mr. Joe Chavez. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Isabel at eleven-thirty in the morning on Friday, July 29, 2022 at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Officiating is Father Oliver Obele. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at one o'clock in the afternoon at Fort Bayard National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest near her husband, Mr. Joe M. Chavez.
