Silvia Xochithl Pellegrino went to be with her LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST on December 2, 2022, after a yearlong battle with cancer.

Xochithl was born on February 5, 1971, in Mexico.  She lived most of her life in Juarez, Mexico, where she grew up and attended the University of Texas El Paso and graduated with a B.S. in Engineering.  She worked for over 20 years as an Engineer and Office Planner for Delphi Company in Juarez, Mexico.  After meeting and marrying her husband, Joseph Pellegrino, on April 12, 2014, she relocated to Silver City, NM, in August of 2016.  She found employment with the Silver City Police Department in their Records Department.  In 2019, Xochithl earned and received her Citizenship of the United States of America - a very proud moment for her.  She loved her LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST and was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, where her husband is the pastor.

She is survived by her husband, her daughter, and her 3 stepchildren, as well as her mother and sister and two brothers, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate her life and the gift of Eternal Life that she is now more fully enjoying only because of JESUS CHRIST-I AM WHO I AM, at 1 pm. on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Messiah Lutheran Church, 2501 North Swan Street, Silver City.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that you can make a donation in Xochithl’s name to: Messiah Lutheran Church, 2501 North Swan, Silver City, NM 88061.
