rosales 01Bertha Mae Rosales, 75, a former resident of Santa Clara, NM now of Chandler, AZ entered eternal rest Monday, February 27, 2023 at Desert Cove Nursing Home in Chandler, AZ. She was born July 21, 1947 in Silver City, NM to Joe Miranda and Stella Armijo.

She was the light to everyone she met with no judgements, and loved her Selena music, her Oldies but Goodies. She loved the outside snowy weather. She was a devout Catholic but engaged with any denomination; because to her God was a relationship not just a religion. She would love most of all talking about all of her siblings, cousins, and her grandma, Nikanora. She will forever be missed by everyone not just family.

She is survived by four sons, Melvin Sedillo Jr., and Gabriel John Sedillo, Luis Hector Rosales Jr., and Israel “ Rali” Rosales; her husband and father to Luis and Israel, Luis Hector Rosales Sr.; fourteen grandchildren, Risa, Melvin III, Gabriel Jr., Jeremy, Brittany, Antonio, Samantha, Panda, Carlos, Ava, Melanie Mae, Ira, Ina, and Israel Jr; ten great grandchildren; two brothers, Ruben Miranda of Safford, AZ; John Miranda of Tucson, AZ; three sisters, Susan Burrous and husband Keith of Springerville, AK; Ruby Miranda and companion Mark Lopez of Santa Clara; Eva M. Sierra; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Melvin Sedillo Sr., one brother, Joe Adam Miranda; two sisters, Rita M. Galaviz, and Marie Miranda.

Visitation will be Friday, March 10 from 5-6pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with the holy rosary to be recited by Miranda Family. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 11 at 11am at Santa Clara Catholic Church with Father Casmir Anozie officiating. Pallbearers are Luis Rosales Sr., Ronnie Sierra Jr., Risa Sedillo, Clarissa Sierra, Stephen Miranda, Ruben Miranda Jr., Brittany Marrufo, and Randy Hernandez. Honorary pallbearers will be Ruben Miranda, John Miranda, Melvin Jr., Gabriel, and Luis Jr., Llamas, and Armijo family Concluding service, cremation will follow.
