Willard T. Kline, Sr., 72, a Navy/Coast Guard Veteran and former resident of Lordsburg, NM entered eternal rest Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the family home in Las Cruces, NM. Born 11/28/1950, Willard “Terry” Kline Sr was the oldest son of Bette (Bossar) and Willard Terry Kline of Mora MN. Terry grew up in Mora with sister Sandee (Sjodin) and brother Dana.

Terry served in the US Navy from 1969-1972, and the US Coast Guard from 1975- 1979. He worked at the Silver City Veterans clinic until his retirement in 2015 and remained committed to the veteran’s community until his passing.

Terry is survived by his children, Beth (David) Riopel, Bill, & Matt (Melissa) Kline; his Grandchildren, Gilbert, Isiah & Andrew Soto, Kayla Kline, Kylie & Chase Kline, & Cate Riopel, and both of his siblings. He is preceded in death by his parents.  

He will be deeply missed by many lifelong friends, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 11:00am, with Pastor Joseph Gros officiating, at Fort Bayard National Cemetery at 11:00am with Full Military Honors.   Pallbearers are Gilbert Soto, Isiah Soto, Andrew Soto, Matthew Kline, Dan Sjodin, Dana Kline.
